Washing clothes here is a huge task and takes a long time. I really don't look forward to washing clothes. When we go to the states I love to do laundry! It is so exciting, you throw the clothes in and that's it- I honestly love it and the dryer, well don't get me started. My last trip in I would wash everyday until my mom told me that I was wasting water and energy for just 3 or 4 items of clothing. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to have the washing machine we have here in the DR, I would hate to have to wash by hand.
